Have 07 LTZ with nav and XM but heard you can convert XM to Sirius?  Anyone do this yet? :help:

You can change your stereo equipment aftermarket or use some other input (FM tuner), but Sirius and XM require seperate equipment.

On my 04 I changed the module behind the glove box from and XM box to a SIR-GM1 box to get Sirius. It is plug and play although getting the box out was a pain. I was even albe to use the stock XM antannea. Now the screen of my stock radio displays Sirius, song, station, everything just like the XM did. I am not quite sure about the 07 though. Hopefully someon will chime in about it.

I don't think they've come out with a module for the '07's yet.  I've wanted to do this for sometime but haven't been able to find one yet.  If someone does know of one, pleae let me know.

please come out with this. my dealings with xm are more than ridiculous but I don't want an aftermarket unit. Since they are merging or whatever is this going to be possible soon?

From the commercials I've seen on TV, it appears we're going to be "getting the best of both worlds"...I hope that means I get Howard Stern again!!!

I had xm in the truck and on a pioneer inno and called to merge the truck xm id to my acct. said it should be working in an hour. It's been one month and a number of calls to xm. They can't fix it. Oh well I'm used to the normal sound quality now anyways but if I can get sirius I will consider it.
