Tach Problems

Has anyone had problems with their tachs sticking in place? Just about every time I drive my AV these days, my tach sticks at about 1800 RPM once the truck warms up. Everything works fine for the first 10-15 minutes while driving down the road about 60 mph but then tach sticks until I get the tranny to shift down or really step on the gas which causes the tach to jump and stick again.

I'm beating my head against the wall on this one and haven't found any threads about this yet.

Not yet, been busy working 12 + hours a day to get it into the shop. Will try to get an appointment next week.

I bet it is just a cluster...and if it is ....see if ya can get a denali or escalade from em hehehe

Will do......which would be better? the Denali or the Escalalde. A friend works there and does everyones paychecks, so would it be wrong to ask for an upgrade?
