Tailgate Clunk

anybody have the tailgate clunk.my right hinge slips and clunks going from an open to closed position.also having a problem locking.duffle bags look pretty cool but i don't know what to put in them

Thats odd - the left post - looking from the rear is the lift off one - the right should just be a post and socket - there have been many complaints about the tailgate popping open if not locked - might yours be damaged - I would hustle it back to the dealer.

Mine does the same thing. Tight fit on the left and loose on the right. I'm not sure, but it may have to do with how the tailgate is removed Perhaps a check of the owners manual will assist with this.
