Hi ya'll. I have a small tear in the non-leather portion of my seat. It is a weird, textured vinyl, and the tear has stemmed from a small opening in the seam. Sure you heard this before (as i posted another problem earlier today) but I am only 1000 miles out of my warranty :8: Why do these things happen? Anyway, does anyone know of a quick fix for this? I was thinking of going to an upholstery shop, but if there is a quick fix, that would be better :)

The non-leather parts of the NFE seats are made out of Gore-Tex. It's commonly used in backpacks, mountainwear, etc. Any good mountain shop should be able to hook you up with a patch kit or do a reasonable repair.

before finding your own solution, contact your dealer. My av was 6000 kilometer out of warrenty and repairs for a leak where done with a 100$ deductable as a goodwill gesture - Never hurts to ask or call 800# for customer service

just my $0.02
