I want to thank everyone on this forum and especially those who have provided valuable feedback to the random misfires and CAT topics. I was having a lot of problems with the truck on the Random Misfires code and after reading thru the topics and forum I was able to take it to the dealer and tell them that it was a backed up CAT and have them replace it under the waranty.
The dealear was even stumped and couldnt believe that one side would totally shut down. One mechanic had been working for 30 years. So big UP and KUDOS to you guys. I am hooked.
We dealt w/ a problem when dropping it off because the truck was registered in Canada and the dealer didnt know if they would be able to cover the warranty but they decided to do it after a little convincing.
