Received my Line of Fire from JP customs yesterday. They packed it in a tube with walls that are so thick that it looks like a hollowed out log. Stickers with all kinds of warnings advising careful handling etc. (great packing JP, I know it is not your fault) Where I live, if you are not home the driver leaves the item on your doorstep. It was obvious that this tube was damaged. The top 1/3 of the container was bent at a 45 degree angle!!! You could hear the pieces moving inside the container. Why the #%#$% did he leave it!!!! I have asked JP to get in touch to let me know how to procede.
Just venting guys as I was really looking forward to installing this item on the EXT.

If you go back a ways in this forum you will find when Jason had the first sale....a few shipping tubes were messed up by Santa Claus......AKa UPS MAN.....mine was one but the LOF made it out of the broken tube unharmed.,.....lucky I guess....

Jason will fix ya up

At least yours is an Easy fix. The man in the big brown truck/van backed into my AVy and then drove off. Luckily some of the guys at our office saw it happen. After a little argueing they paid for the repairs. :8:. I only had 400 miles on the truck when it was backed into but it wouldn't have been nearly so irritating except the driver wouldn't admit to doing the damage. Thanks to the cladding it only took an hour to repair the damage and a large piece of front cladding. I didn't even get a we're sorry from the big brown truck people thus no more shipping with them ever again.

Yep, and UPS lost one, also. (mine.) :6:

Yep, he'll take care of you. In my case, he handled all of the interaction with UPS to file a claim, and even went ahead and shipped me a replacement (at no cost to me) before the UPS claim was resolved. He said there was no need for me to wait while UPS dragged their heels. I appreciate that, he would've been within his rights to say he has to wait until UPS pays off the claim before he ships a new one.

Jason's a great guy in my book. (y)

Thanks for the comments. For you people who don't use UPS, is the US Post Office or FEDEX a better choice? BTW I have heard nothing but great things about Jason and his company and look forward to his help in taking care of this.

It sounds like they needed a different shipping container :6:

JS73751: yes it is hard to believe that the kevlar bullet proof Abrahams tank proof packing tube in which the LOF is shipped could possibly be damaged but the brown truck guys figured a way. I had the same problem with my first one as the tube was partially crushed and smashed. You could almost drive an Av over the tube with no harm- but the delivery guys managed to damage it anyhow. Great thing is there is warranty and replacement coverage and a manufacturer which stands behind its product.  (y) :B:

It took two tries with UPS, both times my Line of Fire was trashed. Fed Ex pulled through with an undamaged unit. It was worth it!
