one more...tryin to get the front door panels off so i can get the speaker grills off but i cant get the part where the lock is off. any help would be appreciated

I didn't have to take the entire door panel off to paint mine, just play around with a very thin/small flathead screwdriver.. you can work the tabs out and then when your done, work everything back in again, just pre-bend the tabs when you go to re-install...  Driving around with mine for at least a year and no problems
