Anyone heard of or using a Throttle Body Bypass Kit?

I found this on eBay.....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1874721586

Claims to give a dyno PROVEN 6 hp at the rear wheels (or 8 at the flywheel).

More info (from the description on eBay)

How this mod works is that GM ran a coolant line to and from your factory throttle body. After driving for awhile, your coolant will reach temperatures of up to
210F...this hot coolant running throught the throttle body heats up the air entering the engine and hinders performance.

Any thoughts?

This topic has been discussed before. Do a search under performance modifications for "throtle body bypass" and you should find it.

I did the mod, and did not see much performance increase. If you live in a cold climate, I would not recomend doing this modification. It was easy to do. I didn't even buy the kit from ebay.

I ran the search before I posted and it didn't come up with anything.

I just ran it again and it only pulled up my thread.

Thanks for the input.
