I just had my front windows tinted about 4 days ago and I noticed that there are a few bubbles in the tint. The tint shop said when they were doing the install that I may see a few but they should go away in about a week ???.

When I had my car done several years ago there were no bubbles at all after the install. My question is should I be concerned? Or was the shop telling me the truth in waiting a week or so for the bubbles to come out? I need a little feedback because I'm starting to get a little teed off and I don't want to raise a stink to the shop for nothing.

Thanks,

ATLien

Depends on bubbles....some of the small ones near edges will go away as the water behind evaporates and works it way toward edges....

Large ones tend to remain....

Got PICS?

i would be a little concerned. keep an eye on it. take it back within a reasonable amount of time it does not go away. when i got mine done all they told me was the milky look the window had would go away in a couple of days. no bubbles.

A good tint shop will warrenty there work and if the bubbles remain after a week or so, they will to it over again. I know it was said before but try and park in the sun to speed the process.

Bubbles look a little excessive. I would take it back.

That's not good. I would take it back & have them do it over. Like ygmn said, you might have a few SMALL bubbles near the edges, but nothing as big or in the places your picture shows.

Thanks for the feedback. I thougt the bubbles seemed a bit too much. I'll take it in to the shop first thing tomorrow. At least the drivers side looks good. :cautious:
