I just bought and Avalanche 1500 last weekend. I must of picked the only one without a trailer hitch! I couldn't believe it when I went to pick it up - that I didn't have one. I couldn't ask the dealer to throw one in, because they already gave me a super deal - Commonwealth Chevrolet - Lawrence Mass. I figured no big deal, I'll pick up and after market - wrong, all the ones I have tried bolt on, but hang about 3 inches below the bumper, not snug and fit like a stock one - close to the bumper.
So I called the dealer, they are having a hard time finding the correct part number in the parts dept.
Does anyone have that part number, or know of an after market that fits?
By the way - love the truck, dumped the 99 Tahoe, what a difference!
