Tranny switched from 2 HI to 4 HI automatically!!!!!!!

Anyone else have this problem? I just got through using the 4 hi when we had snow here for a couple of times only to be sure not to get stuck about 2 weeks ago. Yesterday and today I am driving and realize the truck feels a little rough and I look at what should be on 2HI and it is on 4 HI both times I switch back to 2HI. Anyone?

I had it switch into 4WD Low on its own. Lucky I had my belt on or I would have been thru the window.
