Howdy, 02 AV 34,000 miles, transmission shifts fine , runs well...But shift lever will not move into Park position. So I cannot remove key etc. Could problems be in the steering wheel interlock unit. Thxs. Loopy

Park lock on tranny or the column shifter....funny they have a shifter when the tranny is electrically shifted....all the column hanbdle does is move a cable which then moves a electrical shift box on the side of the tranny.....
