Trapped Water Sloshing Around...

After 3 days of rain, when I turn sharply to the right or to the left, I can hear what sounds like several gallons of water sloshing from left to right,(but not back and forth). The rear carpet is wet around the rear edges, but I can't find where the water is being held! Are there underbody water drains that might be blocked??

This post seems like exactly what I have... I've found evidence of water coming from my rear wheelwells... mostly on drivers side but passenger side is wet also. I'm in the process of drying things out now.. I have noticed and continue to notice that when I turn hard left or right.. I hear water going from one side to the other but can't locate where this water is trapped.. has anyone else had this problem and located where the water is trapped?

Bring down the midgate and look under the little panel flap. I bet you have water there. I do.
There is a drain hole that may be clogged.

Great... thanks for all the information. I found the tip about drilling the 5/16 inch holes and sure enough water came pouring out. I plan on taking this tip to my dealer tomorrow. I certain at this point the water is coming in the wheelwells.. I'll seal it and hope everything dries out..

Hey jgoggins, how did things work out for you? Are you dry now? I have water trapped in mine too. I am preparing to drill the 2 holes. I don't here the water slosh but I removed the c-pillar trim and could see water trapped underneath where the two interior midgate drains are.
