I'm looking for the "perfect" travel mug(s) for my 03
Av. None of the ones I have seem to work very well and since its a new truck I need a new mug for my morning coffee. I'm looking for ones that are pretty secure in the
holder but you don't have to wedge in (my current situation) and in the 16oz range.

I've tried a couple of different ones but they seem to
taper too much and are not very secure in the holder and want to topple over at least somewhat because the cup holder is not very deep.

I've seen the CAFCNA stainless ones on the site and wonder how those would work on the 03's. They taper
as well but I can't tell how wide the base is and where the taper would fit in the holder. While I would be surprised if they didn't work in the Av I didn't know if they've been tried in the 03's.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I can't tell you what brand they are, as they have no markings on them, but I got mine at Target. They are plastic, and the top turns to seal. When it seals, it actually has two stoppers that slide into and push against the openings. They fit snugly in the cup holders of my 2500, and seal like no other mug I have owned. And they come in many colors to match your AV.
I dropped one the other day in my AV and it did not spill a drop, much more than I can say for those mugs from Starbucks that seem to leak no matter what.
There, that's my .02 worth.

My older Starbucks mug fits great; stays put on sharp corners...

The newer mug they sell now though seems a little taller, a little narrower and might not stay as put.

I have an 'o2 so I'm not sure this would apply to the '03, but I took a koozie (a black one) and cut out the bottom and cut it in half to make two rings. Then I slipped it under the rubber tabs in the cup holder. This holds the tappered cups as well as most of the fast food drinks. I belive I have pics of this on my link below.

Hey, that ought to work. I'll have to give that a try with the club mugs. I knew I liked hanging out here with all you smart folks. Thanks!
