Hi all!
Thanks for the replies. To answer your questions,
The daytime driving light mod was very easy to follow thanks to Chad's post. I was a little too tall to walk under the AV so I had one of Santa's helper switch the bulbs.
The 20's were sold when I bought the FabTech lift. Looking back, I should have kept them and ran 37's on those. That would have looked awesome!
The cost of all the mods are as follows:
20" wheels and tires(no longer have)--$1730
FabTech lift-$1400
Shock conversion for the front--$500
Steering stab--$95
installation for the above--$1200
3" body lift--$299
lift lips--$0(Ed at Northern threw them in)
running boards--$200
installation for the above--$600(10 shop hours total)
BFG ATR KO's LT315 75R17 tires--$900 (now for sale-about 1000 miles on them. tires still look new. Rims are for sale also. Ask about the great deal for the package)
Hypertech programer--$275
Dual straight exhaust--$250
K&N system--$225
instrument cluster--$64
gas cap cover--$100
decals--$79
Silverstars--$45
ambers$5
All the above does not include shipping to Alaska(that hurt too!)
Mods that are next:
F150 torsion bar keys
New wheels and 37" tires
SLP 1.85:1 rockers and springs
electric fans
throttle boday spacer
(any advice or experiences would be apprecited on the above)
I hope my wife does not see this thread
The throttle body was removed and thoroughly cleaned. I polished the venturi and ground the screws on the shaft so they would not distort any air flow. I then modified the throttle stop that allows the throttle blade to open a full 90 degrees for increased airflow. I thought about bypassing the heat line but I figured I would freeze up in the winter time. This is a very easy mod if you are slightly mechanically inclined and have some spare time. You may want to get a new rubber throttle body gasket from the dealer before you start the task just in case. They are a solft blue rubber gasket. Have a 1/4" piece of copper tubing handy to bypass the TB heating line(about 3 or 4 inches ought to do).
I plan on putting 37" tires on when I get rich again(ha ha). I was told by Ed at Norther 4X4 that I'd have to trim a little. Nothing too noticable.
I hope this answered everyone's questions about my Urban Assault Vehicle. I was thinking of mounting a M60 in the back for pics. I'll try at the next maching gun shoot.
