I was wondering if this is a good idea and how much does each one hold?
If you look in the back of your owner's manual, you will see a section on recommended fluids and lubricants. It states what you should use, but does not say how much.troyboy said:I was wondering if this is a good idea and how much does each one hold?

For 2002, this is on page 7-24, and for 2003 it's on page 6-17.
For both years, it recommends natural lubricant for the front, and synthetic for the rear. I have heard of problems with differential seals failing and resuilting leaks if you use the wrong type of lubricant in your differentials.

Edward K said:I believe the rear holds approx. 3qts., however the level should be approx. 40mm BELOW the fill hole.
I know that Gandolphxx had a problem with his front after swapping it to synthetic, so to echo SS stick with the regual gear lube in the front, and the synthetic (75W-90) in the rear.
