Hey All,

Well I returned from the 2007 National GTG last Tuesday. I am a bit late here but here are some pic's and comments from my all too short trip.

Enjoy!!

Here we are at the SL Airport Days Inn on Saturday morning to begin our caravan into Rapid City. We are 5 AV's strong plus Utah member Trafficman who stopped by to say Hi but sadly couldn't join us to S.D.

Our caravan has now made it to Casper, WY where we added two more AV's plus Alaska AV's temp AV (the Caddy)!

Here we are waiting to board the 1880's train. Nice of them to welcome us, Chevy Club, I guess that is us anyway. 

Looks like I CHNGE thought the sign needed a quick Mod.

Now thats better!!! Now we know for sure that it is the AVALANCHE CLUB!!!       
Wonder who DERSON CO & TR is, kind of a weird name if you ask me. 

Here is the Locomotive for the 1880's train headed to the shop for some quick service before our trip.

Mt. Rushmore after the lighting program. This program was AWESOME!! A ranger gave a thirty minute presentation including a video down on the stage. Then military members both past and current were invited to the stage along with a scout troop from Kansas. The scouts lowered and folded the flag. The flag was then passed to each member of the military on the stage. It was very patriotic!

We had such a wonderful time and met so many new friends at the GTG. The memories will be with us forever. Thanks so much to Todd and all of the many others who did so much to put this event together and then carry it out flawlessly. You truly are the ones that make CAFCNA what it is! Me and Lynette can't wait to see you all again soon!

Thanks Mark. It was great to see you again as well. It killed us having to leave early. Hopefully we will be to Mega Meet. Hope to see you there!
