Does anyone have a set of the Vizualogic headrest monitors? How are are they to install. Autobarn.com
has them in a dvd package for $1099 for the 5.6" monitors.

What do you think?

www.Vizualogic.com

I have not seen them, but the price seems a little high for just the displays and not source unit (ie...DVD player).

I'm sorry I wasn't clear. The price includes:
2 headrest replacements in OEM colors and materials
2 wireless headphones
1 dvd player
rf mod

assorted connections.

I have a set in the 7" monitors. The installis pretty straight forward. Th eonly complication I ran into was it took me a while to figure out the seats have a cardboard insert that prevents the wire from just dropping out the bottom. Once I figured it out it was just a matter of forcing through the cardboard in the bottom corner of the seat. I have not finished my complete installation, but have turned the monitors on and conected to the DVD and the picture looks GREAT!! Fit and appearance are good as well. I am currently doing a full Audio Video upgrade and can only work on it on the weekend so it should be complete in another week or 2.

DYRTIGAF,

Thanks for the info. That was the same thing I was wondering about, how to get the video cable thru the seat. Can't wait for moe info and pictures.

One last question, Who did you purchase from?

Thanks in advance!!!

I will try to post some pics once done.

As far as who I bought from?
Well I have resources that allowed me to obtain them at or near cost. ;D
My system uses a diffentent DVD than the Vizualogic but the package system seems a good way to go.
Try Jason at JP Customs
Autobarn doesnt seem to keep any Vizualogic in stock I got my Visor monitor from them and it took 2 days to process the order and 5 days shipping. Ordering 2 day UPS doesn't help either because they still wait 2 days to process the order.

As for the Viz products I am pretty sure Jason @ JPCustoms can do better than Autobarn on the price.

I am aware of more than a few members with Vizualogic products in their Avs, I have not heard any negative feedback on them yet (except for being kinda pricey).

I myself have the Viz visor monitor. Very very nice, very oem looking too.
