I've got a 500watt mono amp, and another 200 watt amp for door speakers, and lately I've been experiencing drops in voltage, from 14 to around 12. Its not low enough to turn on the battery warning light, but it still worries me. Sometimes it happens when I have the volume low and the bass turned down also. Any ways to remedy this?

Where are you experiencing the drop? At the amps? At your gauge? Might not be a problem, just a nicely charged battery, or a bad connection, or a failing Alternator.

turn on your lights for a few minutes with motor off, then start motor and put a volt gauge at your battery. Should be between 14 or 15, if only 12, check your alternator connections and alternator.

How's your battery? Check to make sure alt is charging normally also. Disconnect each amp from power and see if the voltage returns to normal with just one of the amps running.
