I notice before that my drives side carpet was wet today i went out to vac the rugs and they were very wet i broke out the wet vac to suck up the water.
Has they been a recall on this and no i did not have my windows open in the rain.
Thanks for your help. :B: :B:MundsZ71 :B: :B:

my leaks were caused by the noted unrepaired midgate leaks that were pervasive in the 2002s

There are a couple places that you can check. The first place I would look is the boot that protects the wires going to the door. Open the driver's door and look in the hinge area. Some people have reported that the boot has detached from the truck body and they have gotten wet driver's side carpet from that.

If not there. Then there is a gromet under the carpet on the driver's side. I think it's where the parking brake cable exits the cab. For some reason I'm thinking that some people may have had problems there.

Good luck.

I've had my '04 back to the dealer 4 times so far & still leaking.  They called in a "water doctor", so far he's worked on it twice.  Water drips onto my left foot or just next to the brake pedal.  First was a kink in the drain line from the sun roof that runs down the left A post.  Now it only leaks when I'm parked nose down on a hill or driveway.  My main concern is that there is a computer above the brake pedal and we all know how well computers like water.

Wish you luck.

BINGO! "Open the driver's door and look in the hinge area. Some people have reported that the boot has detached from the truck body and they have gotten wet driver's side carpet from that."  Found it right when I opened the door.

Thanks a bunch!
