I have been talking with the group that is going on the Western Regional 03 Cruise and have made plans to meet with them for their last night in Kingman Arizona. We will be able to meet them all Saturday Night and then have breakfast with them Sunday morning. When they head for home depending on their route and time we could cruise with them for awhile. Maybe a run to the Hoover Dam could be arrainged for us depending on the time frame.

I have reserved our room already and was wondering if any of the local AzAvers would like to join us in meeting them in Kingman. If you want to join us, call and make your reservation. Tell them you are with the Avalanche group and we will receive their discount. Then PM or email me and we can further the plans since we are doing this with short notice.

We will leave our house between 4:00-4:30 PM or sooner if we can arrange it.
If you will be going I would like to meet at our house unless you are on the north side. Then we can meet along the freeway some place.

Great post. We would love to meet as many of you as we can. We are going to heading to Kingman on Hwy 40 from Flagstaff. If anyone wants to hook up with us along the way for the cruise to Kingman, we can coordinate it with cell phones that day.
 
We would still like to try and make this one. We will let you know for sure soon and will reserve our room this week.

Everything this month for me has been last minute due to work.

 
Ok, We are definately going to kingman this weekend. We booked reservations for friday and saturday night. I asked for a half day on friday and monday from work. My boss gave me both days completely off for comp. time towards all the hours I have been doing the last few weeks. It will be nice to finally get a break and get out of town. That is also why we are going up early. As soon as ghostwheel gets off work, we will head out.

If ghostwheel was able to take friday and monday off also, I would have wanted to try the anza borrego trip in calif that same weekend. Camping and off roading. Two of our favorite things. We enjoyed the last time we went camping there.
 
We will see you when we get there Saturday sometime.

Was told they are 100% booked because of the marathon there this weekend...

We are going up friday. We will check out the area saturday while waiting for others to show up. We will probably leave a cell number with the front desk to pass on to the group to call us when they arrive if we are not there. If you guys arrive before them you have our cell numbers to call us to meet up with you.



 
Ok, today I called back to the hotel that everyone is staying at, apparently who ever was working the desk last night doesn't want any business there, because I was told that they had no rooms left at all this weekend, today I was told that they have rooms for saturday but not friday, and she does not know why I was told otherwise.

Anyway, I got a room booked for saturday night, the discount for the group isn't much, but hell, every bit helps.

So Ghostwheel and Azcavfandt, see you up there saturday, amd... I guess either see you up there or follow you up there... :2:

I was so sad this morning. I saw like 15 av's on the hwy on my way to work in a little over 30 mins. I never noticed so many in one day, let alone 30 mins. I wished I was driving one too. :C: The more I started to notice, the more I ended up trying to look to see how many I could find. Bad habit to start. It won't happen again. Too heartbreaking and dangerous. I don't want to get in an accident googling over other av's. Maybe some day I can get my own.

Called motel. They said all booked up. So I went online and got confirmed no problem. Go figure. No Av discount though. Oh well. I'll ask for it when I get there. Also have to work but can cruise with you Sat afternoon. Will pm you.

We got home at 10pm last night. Didn't get online at all. Just wanted sleep. Even though ghostwheel had to get up early for work, I got to sleep in til 10 am.

We had a really great weekend. It was nice to meet a bunch of new av'ers. It was a great group. Had a good time with the group from Calif. Shared a lot of laughs.

We just want to let you all know that on sunday after you left we went to auto zone and did an amber mod on ghostwheels truck. (got pics and all, to be posted).

We had a really good time off-roading after that.

We met up with Bishop later that day and did the same amber mod on his truck after dinner. We had another nice dinner with him at that dambar on the patio again. (the wood slighly gave away on one of our jump overs to the parking lot. oops.)

We departed with Bishop after that. Grey, amd and us headed back to phx.

Thanks to the Calif group for having a stop over in AZ for those of us who could not make utah. Look forward to seeing everyone in LV in Jan.

well we gave him a brochure, and chatted about the club and our trucks. And he joined us in our caravan back to Phoenix until a certain member who will remain un-named in this thread, got pulled over. About half a mile down the road we pulled over to wait fo the lawbreaker >:D , and he pulled in said that he would like to have continued in the caravan, but had to get home. Have not heard anything from him yet, but it has not even been a week yet.

Anyway, was great meeting you CA HKR, and the rest of the Cal Club. Looking forward to joint Meets between our groups in the future.

...to say it was a real pleasure meeting everyone. Thanks for making the trek to meet up with us, and my hubby (Wind4Power) and I look forward to seeing you all again at future GTGs. (y)
 
Just got back to Vegas today, went straight to Ft Irwin after seeing you guys in Kingman. The wife and I had a great time,wish we could of went down a day earlier. :E:Wish I could have seen SoCalCindy's AV in person. Heard that one of you got a ticket on the way back to Pheonix, ???I bet it was Todd. Wish I could have seen SoCalCindy's AV in person.

Hey Todd, got the plates today. Put them on in the dark and had to have Kim put on some of the screws :8:(my hands were to big in some spots). They look great and one of the best mods Ive done.

Nice to meet you all and hope to see you all again. (y)
