Didn't do it today but a coupe of weeks ago. Factory rear leveling springs...Was really upset with how high the back of the Avy sat vs the front. I Didn't want to go really low or mess with the ride in the front by cranking up the torsion bars. Only to increase the fender gap and i liked the size and availability of the factory size tires. So I'm going to be buying the same size wheel but with a deeper offset to give it a slight more aggressive stance. I've been running this idea around in my head and i finally found what i was looking for. A 2002 gmc yukon denali in the salvage yard. They tended to sit abit lower than the suburban. So i pulled the rear coils out. In comparison to the Avy coils the Denali ones were 1.5"taller but the wire diameter was smaller. Popped them in and now after a week or so of driving they have settled in. The back end is about 1.5"lower than before and the ride and handling haven't changed. I forgot to take a before pick but i know you guys have seen how bad it normally is. I need to go to a parking lot and get a better pic.

Finished my onboard air system.
Compressors under the hood in the extra battery location.
Air Chuck on the rear bumper. I have another one up front by the compressors so that way i have access from both ends.
5 gal air tank mounted behind the passenger tire.
I mounted the air horns behind the grill for maximum impact. I tried to use 1/4"air lines at first and ended up taking it all back out and going with 3/8. Now i can run my air tools as well. So much better not having to use a 4 way to take off tires and a air ratchet and etc for all those other odd jobs. I keep a menagerie of tools in my truck at all times just Incase of anything lol

I lost a center cap to a rim and could not find a replacement so I made my own. I embedded 9mm casings in them.

Good am....new member here....own a Chevy Avalanche '04. Bought it brand new back then, no major issues over the years, great truck, love my truck. During a driving vacation two wks ago, an oil alarm sounded while parked on a hill, checked oil pressure, everything checked out. Drove all the way back from SD to NM, alarm sounded 2nd time a wk later, again on a hill...checked oil again, fine, so thought it was just a sensor problem. But no, poor engine started ticking as I drove into garage, so made appt with Chevrolet.....the engine is shot. The oil pump had been just working intermittently, so engine...17 yr old faithful..is gone, blew the engine. Contemplated on a new truck for a day or two, but came to my senses, decided to get a new engine put in. Did I say, love my 2004 Avy...wouldn't trade her in for the world. Getting transmission overhauled too...time to get her spruced up again. 👋

ordered a set of side window vents and a kit of interior LED lights to brighten up the interior. I'm most excited because the kit should come with puddle lights and cargo lights.

Today my avvy became my daily driver, at least until I get tired of 11.5 MPG anyway with a 25,000 mile annual average.

I'll miss my charger, but I had 60k miles on it and sold it for $4k less than I can buy one new with incentives when things get back to normal if I really wanted to. Which was the right call in the end.

Got the avalanche and oil change and changed out the transfer case fluid, leaving only the front diff and power steering fluid to go. I should be able to pamper it now and restore it within a year if I can find the right guys for the bodywork.

I flew from Houston to Dallas yesterday, drove home in my new to me 2013 Black Diamond LT. The truck only has 68k miles, drove great. Today I loaded gear, cleaned off some smashed bugs, added my 4way lug wrench, put the receiver hitch in, basically added to this unit what I used to haul in my 2011 LTZ.

Man it looks good in the garage!

How many posts until I can post photos?

The flight was uneventful, packed. I used to fly often but first flight since I retired about 6 years ago. Still hearded like cattle. X-ray deal will pick up soft chew gum in your pocket.

Your children are awesome!
Thanks man they grow up quick. You raising any little pups of your own? And tell us more about your corvette! Maybe even in a separate thread or reply (you're almost able to post pictures!)

I’m scared guys.

Brought the Mule in from the pasture to get him in shape for the RVing.

He is so cooperative, seems a lot quieter, taking in less feed.

Is it not they say, they always run best before the.

BOOM
