Hey guys, so what lift does your truck have? 4 inch rancho? a 6 inch fabtech? or maybe it's a custom fab work? tell about it here.

I don't have my truck lifted just yet... but i'm plaining on going with a 4 inch rancho lift.. powdercoated in red to match my truck. what do you think?

I have the 4" Rancho lift, you'll see it Saturday, and the Rancho lift only comes in Red (y)

Good topic,
Ok folks, is there anyone out there who chose Race Car Dynamics? They seemed to have a good write up on Off Road .com. The US Border Patrol could not get the suspensions on their Expeditions to last while in pursuits and in daily work on the border. RCD was contracted to upgrade/rebuild the suspensions. The article was very favorable. They seemed to have a good system which accentuaited (sp) the Expeditions good attributes and worked with those. The result being a more heavy-duty susp. Any thoughts?

and a grey option too... that my friend will show you on saturday. now only if my avalanche was lifted... there would be 3 lifted avalanches in one spot...

Hey Durwin,

I have the RCD 6" lift and I love it. The ride is beautiful both on and off road. I was concerned that the truck might drive poorly on the highway, but not at all. It's great. Not quite as colourful as some of the other kits, but I think the stainless steel pieces add some class. The Bilstien shocks perform beautifully off road. I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have. Sometimes I'm a little slow to respond as me and my Av are spending alot of time in the bush these days.

Hey,

Bring a tape measure when you guys meet up, so you can measure the height increases from the suspension lifts. Make sure to post them too! ;)

OK guys, here's what I have...Whiplash Suspensions 10" kit with a 3" body lift, 39.5"x18x16.5 Super Swamper Boggers, 16.5x14 Weld Scorpios, Triple Front Shocks, Quad Rear Shocks, and Dual Steering Stabilizers.....Its a little extreme, however it gets the girls looking......

Did you already get your lift kit, wheels and tires?

Why are you using the Texas Heatwave photo in your signature then?

I have asked a lot of people (manufacturers, vendors, stores, owners) and I continue to hear one answer above the others - go with the RCD suspension lift, it's the best.

So that's what I'm going to do. Just as soon as my ride arrives. The dealer told me that the order was accepted by the General. What are the next steps in the process?

I'm going to go with the RCD 6" suspension lift and run 35" tires. Don't know what tires or wheels so I am looking for suggestions! ???

I was thinking about doing a body lift too but only if it will allow me to run 37's but I don't think a body lift will make that happen.

I sure don't want to go 13" up like the pic above this - I love lifted trucks but that is just a bit too extreme for me. But it sure is fun to look at.

The piant job on mine is not complete yet... They said it will be another week and a half to two weeks.....however when it comes out it looks just like this one with blue ghost flames...

WOW, I'm impressed. Just 3 days ago you were asking what we thought of the lift on the AV at sema because you were thinking of doing that to yours. (for some reason your opening post on that topic is gone) and now yours is complete and in the paint shop. Huge lift, huge wheels, huge tires and custom paint. Did you win the lotto?

The truck was already in the shop getting the lift, I just wanted to know what you AV people thought of it.... its now working on the paint, I'll have a whole bunch of pics when it gets back here. ?I also will have pics of the installation and painting process...(if anyone is intersted that is).....I didnt win the lotto, however I did have a good month..... >:D

this sounds interesting, can't wait to see photos, btw i may also be joining you guys in the lift club sooner then you think. ;)
