what mpg you gettin for big blocks

what kind of gas mileage is everybody gettin with the 8.1 big blocks im gettin 10.4 on average i got the idea of this topic from an old thread thought i would bring it up seemed like everybody in the last mpg topic had the small blocks

yeah ive noticed through the in dash cpu i get like 2 on take offs and when i get into it highway miles i the only thing that keeps my average high

10-11 in town 5.5-6.5 towing, I did manage 14.5 once on a long trip and empty.

I get about 11.4 around town and about 12-13 on Highway. Towing about 10.

we generally sit @8mpg...  when we get to 9 we do a little happy dance... thankfully we don't put alot of miles on our Av.

Have'nt checked in a while, but I was getting 10- 12mpg with a best of almost 14mpg.

Dic is saying 10.9 currently. I estimate closer to 11.5. Average about 10 miles a day at 55mph and 40 miles at 70mph. Crusing back from Chicago hand calulated about 13.8 doing 70mph. About a 320 plus trip one way.
