i want to get HIDs REALLY bad but i donno if i wanna get 6000 0r 8000 i like the blue tint.  are the 6500 better or should i get 8000 i dont want them to be to blue and not bright.

Best idea is to see some in person and go with what you like. What someone else considers "too blue" might be perfect for you.

I don't know if you have been to any of the KAC GTGs but I think Shan has 6000s and for sure Brad has 8000s on his blue truck.

8000 by themselves look white..  Next to a set of 6000 they look blue in IMO

either way you are better off...  >:D

Can't remember are yours 8K or 10K? Hugz looks bright white with just a hint of blue, you would probably like his. Mine are 6K and are REALLY bright white, I love going out at night now just to see them heat up and do "the change" when I turn 'em on  ;D

If you like the blue tint I would definitely get at least 8000K.... maybe even a higher temp.

mine are 8k I think..? ?:E: :E:? grr I forget already..? i just know they look great..!!!

I got 8000K and love them.? Blue enough that I can tell when driving.? They give a subtle blue hue to everything.? ?But not like blue colored headlights (n)? ?Several coworkers who have had the opportunity to see them this early in the morning coming to work have noticed them and commented on their brightness.

I like the 8000K better then 6000K because the blue hue is going to get attention not just because they are bright.

I love them.

Check out Which is the Better Quality HID Kit? thread.? Allot of info and pics there.

You'll  'em!

I have had my 8000K HID's since February, and couldn't be happier.? Quite honestly after ordering the 8000's I too was a bit concerned that they would be "too blue"... NOT the case!? They are perfect (for me anyway).? But I have to agree with some of the others here that if it's the "blue look" that you are going for, go with at least the 10000K's.? My 8000's are much whiter than the 80W blue bulbs that I had in the low beams, and at least 3 times as bright.

Lows and a set of HID's in the fogs will complete the job for ya... unless you absolutely MUST go with the high HID's too.? IMHO, the high beam HID's are overkill... but some will tell you "What's wrong with a little overkill?"

Below pic shows HID in driver side, Halogen bulb in passenger side for comparison.
