Where To Get OnStar Antenna?

My AV is ony 2 months old and I just noticed that the small On Star antenna is missing. ?(The small screw on piece. Not the whole unit).

I wash the car by hand so I can't blame it on a car wash.

Has the antenna shown any tendencies to come off or is it a popular item to steal?

The local dealer quoted $23 to replace!! Is there an alternative supplier of the antenna thru electronic shops or after market suppliers?

We can attempt to look into this...I have played with mine before to see how stable it really was and mine seemed to be on pretty good...haven't lost it yet....Let's see what we can find...

Also, FYI they are a regular item on ebay around $9-10. I have a friend who has had 3 stolen on seperate occasions at the mall. He buys two at a time.

If its any consolation he drives a silverado (maybe that makes him a more palatable target?)

peolpe are actually stealing them. i thought maybe they just fall off if they are not tight. BTW, i found mine on the ground behind the trucks parked on line.
