Which are intake is not loud?

Curious which air intake is not to noisy does anyone live near by southern cali i would love to meet and hear one. Pro cold or volant.

Well the ones that I have heard do have some noise to them.

I must say that the FIPK that I had on my first 5.3 1500 AV sounded good at 6000 RPM's

Volant isn't too loud, I've had mine for 1 1/2 years and it's very nice, good HP gains and MPG gains. It is a lot better than the Pro Cold, it is what most people use especially the off roaders.

Volants aren't that loud. They're more quiet than the K&N.

I would say any enclosed sytle intake would be quieter than one with an open filter. My UPD isn't to loud but louder than the OEM one. I would think Volant would be pretty quiet because of it's design.

I find when you change the exhaust you are less likely to notice intake noise.......

Well I do....plus I like my music a bit loud.....

I find the Pro Cold not much louder than stock. Before the Pro Cold I had the Volant, it was noiser than stock, but in a good way, I loved the woosh when hitting the gas.
Since I have a street 66 I have to give it to the Pro Cold for performance gains but I'd rather have the sound of the Volant.

Volant is pretty quiet. I had a FiPK on my last vehicle and
it was kinda of noisy. At least more than stock.

The Volant as people are saying as a really nice
sound as you accelerate. It will probably be less
I assume when you add an exhaust to a vehicle
since that back pressure will change..

I have a Volant. It is ok. Most of the noise is from the flimsy lid.
I put a 1/4" aluminum lid and gasket on it and a gasket at the fender intake and it is much quieter.
