Whipple, Vortec, Paxton, Magna, ATI. Make Me Smart

Ok guys,

I know there is a bunch of you out there with one of these superchargers. I have to put one on my 5.3. I am favoring the whipple due to instant boost. The Magna is trying to work out a deal with GM. The Paxton and the Vortec I had experience with my 5.0 Mustang. Lets make this tread the one for all the supercharger info. HP, Dyno, Installation problems, 1/4 mile, dealership reactions to installation and of course some stories on blowing away unexpected drivers with a 6,000 pound truck. I NEED BOOST AND POWER!!!!!
 
Well, from the 8.1L side of the house, one word WHIPPLE - instant boost, all across the band, easy install [by professionals] and safe for the engine. I personally think that the twin screw is a better bet than the centrifugal for these engines and weight - my $.02

As to 1/4 mile times - check my sig and website ;D
 
There are too many existing threads on superchargers that are already full of good info from both those that have already installed them and those that are researching. I am locking this thread and will provide links shortly to the other threads.
