Who's AV Is This??

I'm not so sure those are amber. Look at some pics of our amber DRL's. Much more pronounced.
I think those are just the crappie yellowish tint from standard bulbs.

It is definitely not a new option from the General.

Zimms is probably right about thse crappy original equipment bulbs.

I have been trying for months to register in the owners section and the site doesn't recognize my vin number.

Doesn't the General know what he has sold???

>:D >:D
That's my "other favorite toy" ;) ;)
and, yes they are amber lenses, and they are on all the time just like The AV.
I wonder how my AV would look with red & white pearl paint??

Just for non-bike people ;D Thats a 1997 Valkyrie by Honda, with lots of mods.

Am I missing something here... ???

My fault, if I click on the link in the first post, I get my own GMlink. If you don't have a GMlink you will get a link that goes to the pic he is talking about.
(I have a pic of my bike on mine)

Sorry about that, I'm not real good at these "puters" yet. :B:

Zimm is right...it's just the effect the photo gives off...GM doesn't offer the amber's stock with the Av's..maybe sometime down the road.....

As far as the Vin number goes...I've had my Av 1 year now and my vin still doesn't get recognized on the site...it could be sometime....they should update more often... :B:

Entering the 11th month of ownership, and it still tells me to try later whenever I try to enter my VIN.

I guess I shouldn't feel bad then, SS. I still can't get in after 9 Months of ownership.

FYI:

It took me about 3 months. I was told to contact my dealer, as they were supposed to provide timely information back to GM, but the uploads to MyGM were monthly.

I had the same problem - I had to fax a repair bill into my GM Link at 866-638-3337. That way they were sure about the VIN.

Within 24hrs my VIN was added to the site.

I found the site to be worthless - I figured GM would take all of my repair work and keep linked to my AV - NOT! :(

I was told by GM that it could 4-6 months before the computer system is updated. Alot of it depends on your dealer doing all of the right things on there side so GM reconizes it out of there stock!
