Tried out my first "haul" today. Had to know if the lawn tractor would fit in the bed with gate up/down or midgate up/down. Here are a few photos to show the process. End result - it fits, with tailgate up, but only with midgate down. It needed just another 4" in the bed if the midgate was up. Oh well, it still fits.
(the wife drove it in while I lined it all up - proof included at her insistence)

Good job! Sounds like you'd be a good candidate for the bed extender so you don't "have to" drop the midgate for those few inches.

It looks like the wheels are solid on the bed floow and not the tailgate. Lock the e-brake on the tractor, throw a strap on it and leave the tailgate down, and you can leave the midgate up!!

Or how about midgate up, strap it all down, and leave the tailgate off? :0:

Great shots!!
I vote for the bed extender. I think they look great and give you a couple extra feet, I just haven't found an excuse to get one yet :6:

Cool shots! It doesn't appear that the tractor even made the rear end sag.
