Yep, I won them on eBay...have the tires picked out, gotta pay some of the credit card down before I can get those. But here's a pic of my new 20s, more to come (probably in a month or so) of them actually installed on my AV.

$960 + $60 (shipped from AZ) = Kim's new rims!

;D

Gotta check regularly, and not bid until the auction is under 5 minutes ;)

Really irritates me when people start bidding at 6 days out....I've become a seasoned bidder LOL

Really, really nice Kim. We have similar taste in rims! (y)

Very nice... (y)
BTW, you are exactly right...that is the ONLY way to bid on eBay, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets peeved at those who bid so darn early! :7:

Man, that is some chrome! Looks great! You're really gonna shine in the Texas sun!

Those are going to look great on your black Avalanche! ;D ;D ;D

Congrats!

Those are quite nice....

lol...i've waited down to the last 30 secs to place my bid. I know it must have P*ssed people off, thinking they won. But yes, it's the best method on winning. Even if they planned on bidding 100's more, they lost out in the final seconds. ;)

Thats the way to go Mud, Thats what Iv'e been doing I wonder if I have lost any bids to you.
BTW those are cool looking rims

Great looking rims, Wonder!
I just put a set of 20's on a couple of weeks ago. I did find that goodyear eagle LS 275/55/20's was the exact height as the ones on the Z66
That is what i am running on mine. It gives you a little more sidewall for cushion. I know some are running 275/45/20's which are a little shorter.
Didn't you have 16's like i had a first?
Hope to see em on the battleship cruise. Kajuns coming up that way, watch out.........

AWESOME RIMS!!! Do the people who bid 6 days out realize all they are doing is running the price up....makes you wonder if its the seller who is doing the bidding????

dday

I love it when my wife says that. I always reply "Won huh? So that means they were free?" >:D

30 seconds is too much time, Mud! If I really want something, I place my first and only bid with 10 seconds left in the auction. I use a sniping program to bid for me if I can't be at the computer during the last 10 seconds of an auction.

Nice Kim!!! Just out of curiosity what would those have cost you retail instead of purchasing them on EBAY?

Well they had a "Buy It Now" option of $1,050....I don't know for sure, I never looked into it, BlackAV2002 might have a better idea...

Kim

OK Kim, have you thought about upgrading to an HPP3 or something similiar so you can reset your tire height?
Got to keep em programmed right so your speedo and gear shifts will be correct..............
Does that sound like more ebay shopping coming up>?
zeeya
If you had the 265/70/16's they are about 31" high
the 275/45/20's might keep the height about right so it would be very close.
If you go with the 275/55/20's they are right at 32 which would throw off the equation some what....
Just something to think about............
