Hello, Ive currently got two Arnott 2708 replacement z55 rear air shocks in my cart and Im trying to put a pair of new springs in there with them. Does anyone have any experience with any springs that are not OE/ACDelco or Moog? Nothing against them just wanting to know if there may be something better? and how important is it to change the seat/insulator with the springs?

Also curious about sway bar links, bushings, ball joints etc? After weeks of reading I've come to think the difference in Mevotech, Moog, and ____(any brand) is negligible, and that just having new ones is the key?

I'm having trouble making decisions on this subject for some reason....smh. Been driving with z55 fuse out for 3 mos trying to make up my mind on whether to delete Autoride or rebuild.....finally got that one out of the way this morning now on to the springs and bushings lol.

Thanks in advance for any input

Curious what you decided on the bushings. Doing my own little research now. Putting on a leveling kit 2006 z71, and thought about just replacing/refreshing the front bushings at the same time before I take it in for re-alignment. I see there are bushing kits available and other kits for just upper control arms. Thoughts?

I have used Energy Suspension poly bushing for years, on DD vehicles and Hot Rods/project cars etc..
They last forever and are much more positive and tight than OE rubber. Particularly on Sway bars and sway bar end links.

Different than what you are doing, but back when I lowered my 07 with Eibach 2/3 drop springs I used Energy bushings on
the sway bars as well. Along with really good shocks it made an unbelievable difference in the trucks handling. Compared
to stock the truck cornered like a sports car and ride quality did not suffer a bit. Had a guy in a rice burner with a bumble bee
exhaust pass me on a straight stretch going up to Hiawasee in the mountains. Got to the twisty part going over the mountain
and caught the guy and easily went past him on a double lane section. He disappeared in the rear view and never saw him again.

You will be happy with Energy bushings and will likely never replace them again..
