battery

Hey fellas, I just got a free battery out of a car that is in pretty good shape. I know my 08 Avalanche has dual battery trays, but I’d like it to charge both batteries but I only want my second battery to run the 20x Rocklights I’m sporting. Could someone guide me through this?
