My ‘02 just turned 215k still running strong
I do have a rear jounce or bump stop question... my original pieces are junk. Ordered the “exact replacement “ bump stops from Amazon. When I removed the original from my Avalanche and compared it to the new there’s a bit of a difference in overall height. The replacement piece is 1.5” short. I’m concerned if I use the short bump stop it could damage the new Bilsten shocks I’ve just installed.
I can’t find and aftermarket pieces that are the size of the original other than for a Silverado which has a different mount with a threaded stud.
what would you suggest should be done
Thanks for the recommendation

I bought all four OEM replacement bump stops for both of my trucks off of Amazon.

I believe I documented with some pictures in the What Did You Do Today thread.

Probably around the first few months of this year.
