I assume, since it is a two hour trip each way, you plan to leave sometime in the morning?

Sure wish I was closer to take that trip.  Have been to Ashville many times as my business has frequently taken me to Greensboro over the past 6-7 years.  I love NC in the Spring with all the azaleas and day lilies in bloom.  The Biltmore is a fascinating place to visit and be sure to tour the winery.  A close friend from Fort Worth has a restaurant in Ashville and his wife teaches cooking classes at the Estate.  Have fun....post some pictures.

Yes I would think so..  (y)

maybe we could Av pool over there just a thought depending on how many go im in i might leave the houze tues. and meet every one there

Not 100% on this yet...

My former boss moved down to Charlotte, so we're trying to meet up on Tues - maybe she'll be joining us at Biltmore.  If she can meet us there, we're going, if not, then we'll probably do Dollywood instead.

Would be awe inspiring to see the Avalanches lined up around the driveway of this incredible Estate.  If you haven't ever been to the Biltmore Estate, your in for a phenomenal time.  It is an Architect's fantasy to design something like this........

Yep....that is why I was facinated with in myself.  Spent a lot of time in the Halloween Room investigating the photos, documents and construction just to see how they built it in the middle of that wilderness.  Still, I was never able to find out how much George W. Vanderbilt spent on his castle.

Would be cool to see a sea of AVs parked around the drive and up to the house.  I would be a photo to end all photos!

I'd like to do this but I must speak with hubby.

I may be from NC, but I've never spent much time in the western part of the state.  Raleigh is usually as far as I got, though I've been to the Ashboro Zoo a few times and once to Camp Cragmont and a ski resort.  I've always wanted to see the Biltmore myself.

You could leave your Allen with my Alan.
Hmmm...there's an idear....

Assuming my Allen doesn't want to see it to (and I think he does)...course we'd still have to ride with someone since we'll be Av-less...

I thought we were signed up for this once upon a time.  I guess there are to many threads to keep track of here.

We're in, even if we have to Avpool.
