Exact times will be provided on the Agendas that will be in everyone's Welcome Bags........still trying to squeeze things in here and there, with maybe a few added surprises, so the schedule has to be flexible until we get there.
maybe dixie stampede ???

Havent got enough for the group rate yet..  Need 20 paying from what I understand..  We are a little over 1/2 way there..    So we shall see in a few more weeks..  But my guess is that it would be a pay on your own thing..
So, are we buying tickets on our own?

According to the list in the first post, we may have enough people for the group rate (I counted 25, the website states 20 + for group rates).  I'm not sure how they count kids for the group rates.  My wife, being in the architecture field, really wants to do some of the specialty tours and the group discounts would help.  Is there any interest in trying to get a group rate set up?  She'll do all the work for it

If everyone already bought their tickets, then this is a non-issue.  If not, then we could all benefit from the group rate.

I haven't ordered ours yet.  I will wait until Monday evening for a reply on the group rate, then order online if needed.

WarWagon....since your wife will have a trained "eye", be sure to spend time in the basement in the "Halloween Room" where you can see much of the structure of the house.  There is large display of photos taken during the construction and original drawings prepared by the architect.  There is also a separate, special tour of spaces not seen on the general tour that will also be very interesting to her.

You guys have great fun.  My wife and I would love to be there with you but.....business keeps us "home-bound".

Two here as well.
Group discount sounds good.
I was going to order my tickets, but I can wait if it will save me some cash.  (y)

Hey Hugz, you got me listed wrong, my daughter is 18.  That makes 3 adults for us.  If everyone on the list makes it, we'll have 20!

Not Cool, When I got home from work yesterday my lovely wife had already order our tickets online because she said she save 7.00 dollars. Sorry about that now your back to 18. Now you need two more to sign up--come on people!!

Doh!  :E:

The group costs are as follows:
Adult $36
youth 10-16 $18 (they will waive this fee if there are only a few kids in this range.  They have to put this in so youth groups and schools don't try to get tons of kids in for free)
child under 9 free

If we did the group thing, we could also do a group lunch at their restaurant.  It would be a buffet, ages 10+ $17.95, ages 5-9 $9.00, 4 & under free.  Advanced reservations required for this, need 15 "adult" reservations to do this.  The last seating is at 2:00pm

They also have a separate "group" tour, but that is at 4:00pm, which may be too late for most people.

if we are not going the group rate i recommend you buy your tickets online you will save $7.00 :B:

Also is there away tro see if we could get a group picture with our Avs at biltmore

I am not interested in the group lunch.
But I still want in on the group rate for admission ( 2 adults.)

Unless we can get a couple more people to go, we won't be able to get the group rates.
