July 22nd trip to Ashville NC and the Biltmore Estate

You can do a group picture in the public parking areas easily.  Upon exiting after your tour, you drive in front of the Estate along the drive at the far end of the front lawn and fountain. Driving around the "U" shape drive to the house is generally reserved for tour buses and the handicapped.  But, if you can clear it with the management, you could stop at the far end of the front lawn upon exit, position the AVs for a photo and get the photographer up on the stairs along the exit route and take a photo with everyone in the foreground and the Estate in the background.  It would be really "cool shot".  But, you'll need to get an approval to stage the photo from the management.  When they are busy, believe me, they keep the traffic moving.

im saying get your tickets online

cheaper then buying at door and its only 4.00 more then group rate

Best bet is too buy them online..  For reasons moosc said above... Doesnt look like the group thing will work..  the reason why I say this is I dont think everyone is 100%...

I'm inclined to agree with this.  The best bet is to buy the tickets online.

 
I just bought mine online.
There is a $3.75 convenience charge per order if any of you want to get together and get all of your tickets on one order.
 
Looks like we will be meeting you all at the Biltmore Tuseday morning! :woot: Any idea what the groups ETA is? I'm guessing about 11 am. ???

9:30 sounds a little early for my eta! :eek: As it is we'll be leave around 5:30 to get there between 10:30 and 11.  :needhug: It says they will be leaving Pigeon Forge at 9 and it will be about 100 miles for them so I was guessing 10:30 eta for us should be good.

Not going down I40.... we're taking I77 to I81 to I26/rt23 into Asheville.

We are leaving PF around 9am expected to arrive at the Biltmore say around 11ish..  Will be good to see everyone...,!!!

Yes...they do.  They will give you directions at the Main Entry
