I'm just curious. I think they only have it for Canadians but I'm not sure. Anyway, us GM owners up here in Canada get the GM Motion magazine. Its just a mag that GM distrubutes free (twice a year) to their customers. I'm just curious as to if US (and Australia, and other parts of the world) people get it too??
OR if other parts of Canada don't get it?

PS. Skidd, I threw in Australia for you...

I don't get it, but it would be cool. I have a friend that owns a BMW and he get's a free subscription to BMW magazine. I thought it was just something BMW published for it's owners until I saw it at a bookstore. It would be cool if Chevy did it for us! :B:

Never heard of it...
My family and I have worked for and owned GM vehicles for over 25 years.
Got to be a Canadian thing.... Kinda like milk in a bag ???

Well, the Corvette has the Corvette Quarterly magazine. ?Maybe CAFCNA ought to put something similar together for the Av!

The CAFCNA Magazine hasn't faired too well. ?I don't believe anyone has written up any publishable mod articles for it to continue.

That would be awesome though. ?If we had the money/resources to put out a mag to the membership each month. ?Showcasing rides, gtg's, and how-to-mod articles.

Ehahn wrote a post a while back on installing the Muth mirrors that I thought was worthy of inclusion in the CAFCNA Magazine. Here is a link to it;

I also did not hear of such a publication...If it did exist..they should automatically give you a free year subscription with the purchase of a GM product...kinda like the ONstar deal.....after the first year it's on you.... :B:

Hmm. But it's been like this for...like, 4 years now, and still not a charge. Lookjs like its only in canada. Leather? NatsCan Av? Do you have it?

Yeah, its only in Canada. Every 6 months they send an issue. In every issue there are highlights about Canada, GM news, new vehicle test in a part of Canada (e.g. current one's H2 in Vanocuver, BC; before that Pontiac Vibe in Toronto, Ontario; and before that the Av in the Rockies  ), and generally loaded.

Too bad only Canada has it.

(Oh yeah, also, GM does not publish it. This company they hire does it. Called Red-wood-camp or something.)

Your right Avrunner it is too bad it's a Canadien exclusive...maybe you would like to volunteer to put out an American version...you seem to be pretty intelligent....don't forget to mention this site... ;D :B:

We get something like that from Pontiac every few months (maybe twice a year as well). Don't recall it's name but it's a small (maybe 20 pages) magazine strictly dealing with the Pontiac line since we are leasing a 2000 Grand Am.

I also get something from GMC which I think is quarterly. You can even "customize" the content to more closely match your interests.

Maybe were just overlooking something..If pontiac and gmc put out an letter than why not chevy...heck I might have even tossed it out not realizing what it truly was, and thinking it was more junk mail... :B:

I don't think so NJ. I haven't gotten anything except 2 surveys - 1 for new ownership and the other for my PCV swap a couple weeks back.

Come to think of it...I never recieved anything from Chevy...not even a welcome to the club deal...since you bought one of our products....VW keeps flooding my wife with stuff.... ??? :B:

I get the same thing from Jeep. I didn't even buy the Jeep new! :cautious: They send us an offer for a free offroad test drive of the newest lines at course built to test the offroad capabilities first hand (including free hats). We still get info on the latest from Jeep even though we no longer own a Jeep.

Some manufacturers are really into keeping their customers happy and there are others who just brush you to the side after you bought one so they can romance the next future customer.

I wish that Chevy would get the clue that happy owners sell their friends on their vehicles more than dealers do.

Sounds like it is time for a scan of the cover. ?

I don't have a scanner at home. I'll see. My dad's waiting for the Christmas sales to buy one. I'll try and get pics up then...

I tend to agree...they maybe should practice better customer relations more often....right now I've been trying sell the av on all my friends based on the fact it just plain kicks ass... :B:
