"Russ".

There's no line between the cab and bed like other trucks have

Named mine Blanche after the Ted head from the golden girls, the trashy one...like her, mines a red, lifted beast and gets dirty

The "TrAvalanche"  It's in the process of getting the snug top, 6" lift and pop top tent.  There will also be a pull out drawer for storage, propane cooktop and folding table...pics to follow.

My 2004 Z71 now has the name "Money Honey", after 6.06 years of wonderful ownership by me at the cost of $12,220.75. She has about 275,000 miles on her and burns almost no oil. Oh yes, give me $4000 and she is yours complete with all records since I owner her. I want a 2010 or newer, but I'm super happy with my "Money Honey".

My Avalanche is pretty plain, no real mods, and it's kinda beat up because it's been a work truck all it's life before I got her, so I call it the Casulanche.

Not fancy, not a beater, just casual.

It would appear that my 2003 Avalanche is going to have some version of the word "Red" for it's name.

It seems some family members need to call it something to distinguish between the Avalanche and the EXT.

The word Avalanche does not seem to be everyone's first choice, but "Big Red", "Old Red" and "Red"  keep popping up.

I tend to call it "The Avalanche" or sometimes simply "Red".

My old 1993 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer four door 4WD that we have kept as a spare vehicle has always been called "Ed", so I thinking "Red" might be appropriate for the Avalanche since it will eventually become our spare once the EXT gets it's new engine.

The EXT gets called "The EXT, "The Escalade" or "Dad's Truck" and up until I bought the Avalanche, I mostly called it "My Truck".

But, as I sit here thinking about it, calling the two trucks "The EXT" and "Red" make the most sense to me.

We will see what sticks.

I went with the ever-original "The Beast".

Maybe I'll start calling it "White Lightning" when I get around to whipplecharging it.

Which will fit perfectly since Jordy Nelson is my all time favorite receiver.

I'm still think what to call her ???
