Name For Your Av?

When I got mine in late 08', I instantly Named her Avalina. I'm not Hispanic or anything, It just sounded good to me. Weird though, because my silver pewter 79 Monte Carlo I had when I was younger, I named, Montoya Carlito..... lol

Took this pic in September 2014. Kept the black lookin' as good as I can. It's a job, I tell ya.

My family wanted to name it "Clifford" but I didn't think much of naming it after a red dog so instead we call it, "The Big Red Truck."

there is red F350 2 houses down from me that says Clifford on the back

If things don't start to change very soon, the Bumblebee is going to be renamed to a particular kind of yellow fruit that grows on trees.

She's  driving you bananas,eh?
  Not the fruit I was thinking of, but yeah, definitely driving me bananas.  We have a winter storm warning from 7:00 tonight until 7:00 tomorrow night and I have to drive my daughter 100 miles tomorrow for hockey game.  I really need it back from the shop.  Maybe I shouldn't have named my winter vehicle after something that goes dormant in the winter.  :beating:

I live with my best friend and brother, and part of the reason I bought the Avalanche is that you should own a truck if you own a house.
Problem is we needed something that fit us all in it to go places too.

So now my truck is requisitioned for most transport of humans, hence I've dubbed it the "Omnibus"

Just got my '05 on Monday, my wife has dubbed it The Great Pumpkin.  I like it, but as a nickname, I'm still working on the official name.
Thus far the potential candidates are Autumn, Ava, Alexis (or Molly*), and...I might have to break from female-name protocol, as I'm kind of leaning toward Gossamer (the big red critter from Bugs Bunny cartoons :D)

*Alexis is the name of the daughter of the TV show Castle, Molly is her real name.  She's originally from Texarkana, which is where I got my truck, and Castle is my wife and I's "watch together" show, in case you were curious

I think I may have settled upon a name - I was standing in the main area at work one day, in a group discussion, eating a certain brand of peanut butter cup, when I looked out the the door, gazed upon my truck, looked back down at my hand, and went "Aha!".  So, now Reese is in the mix, and currently in the lead.

And yes, I find Reese Witherspoon adorable, but if anyone ever asks if I named it after her, I can reply "No. Based on the fact that there are no spoons in the vehicle, it is thus named after Reese Withoutherspoon"

I was filling it up for the first time... then driving along after... I said "Damn it's like driving a Tank!" So the name stuck, and is very fitting at the fuel pumps. Tank!

my 04 has a southern comfort mod on it (bought it used ) so since it is dark blue on the top part fading to a silver on the bottom it kinda looked like a fish  a big fish so it became known as Marlin

Jayebeach you should post a picture when you get a chance.

I think I'm going to be calling me sparky. Just a fun name and done some electrical ad one with lights. But also has some electrical issues. I also think it's fitting because nearly having 207,000 miles on it she still go a lot of life left in her I am just starting to do think to the motor to get more life out of it and after riding in some one my uncles Camero's this weekend that wanting more speed thing is gona get even worse.
