Denver CO. convoy?

so if you leave a 8ish

Denver 9:30 ish on /neer the I-25

8-9 hours were in Rapid!!!!!

seems to add 1.5 hours to us but that don't count traffic on my tourist rout

So...I did not want to select too many Wyoming Highways, especially those that are "connectors" to areas we will be visiting while in Rapid City. ?I figure that this time of year there will be a ton of folks on vacation and visiting those areas that are in proximity to Rapid City...

I am waiting on information from a member on the use of Wyoming Highways 387 and 59 which "cut a corner" off of I-25 to Buffalo and I-90

The time appears to be about a 4 minute difference yet a savings of 53 miles (almost a draw)...

So anyway I figure that the "South Entry" Highways are going to be routes to avoid on a Saturday...don't want to get "locked" in with a bunch of tour buses/rubber neckers... even though we will become the very same a few days later...

Anyway...if you wanted to hook up with the Cali gang of 4 which will become 5 in Salt Lake City and become 6 in Casper...

We will be taking I-25 from Casper to Hwy 387 to Hwy 59 to I-90 (just East of Gillette)...This becomes a "Straight In Shot to Rapid City via Interstate...and we arrive about 7PM...

Don't know for sure but appears to be only slightly more miles on better/faster roads...

And yes...we could meet up in Wright off of Hwy 59...I have been looking at cutting that corner off the route by using I-80 to Hwy 220 to Casper then I-25 to Hwy 387 to Hwy 59 which goes by Wright...we would arrive there at about 3:59PM
 
You could also meet us in Casper at about 1:24PM where we are taking a one hour lunch break...
 
Alaska just follow me out of Denver and we can hook up with them in Casper and go from there.
 
We are meeting Orange05 in Casper...sounds like the two of you may overlap each other on the way North...

Just as an FYI... I've used the Walmart/Home Depot/Gander Mountain parking lot for a meeting place for our local gtg's.? It's the big complex on the eastside of I-25 between Thornton Pkway and 104th Ave.

Did I read one of your posts that you were leaving Friday?

Can you make Casper Wyoming by 1:30 / 2:30 Saturday afternoon?

We are takiing a one hour lunch break in Casper at about that time...
