I just did some checking with my software...looks impossible...
You would have to drive 11 hours with no breaks the first day to make Casper by 2:30PM on Saturday...
and that would involve starting at 7:00AM the second day...
Your trip from Houston to Casper alone is almost the same distance that it is for us to go from North Cali to Rapid City...

How far is it from Rapid City to Denver? We took a trip once to Rocky Mountain National Park, we will have our granddaughter with us on this trip, I bet she would like to see that park, maybe after the GTG..........

I joined the CELL PHONE LIST that was started here.
I may join you guys on the return trip to Denver, well to Ft Collins anyway. It will only add one day and 393 miles to our trip and I would LOVE for our teen age granddaughter to see Rocky Mountain National Park! We were there a few years ago and the scenery is amazing!
The maximum grade on Trail Ridge does not exceed 7%, and eight miles of the road are above 11,000 feet in elevation. Reaching 12,183 feet on Trail Ridge, it is the highest continuous highway in the United States.
