Here's the 07 Avy

Do you actually use yours? I tried once, what a pain in the a**!! I'd guess I am not alone, given the number of bags that go up for sale here on the board.

I'm one that gave it a SINGLE try, then exiled it to the attic.

My poor attic - I just know it wants to collapse to the garage :) ?There's half a '48 pickup up there, plenty of Camaro parts, '93 pickup parts, Avalanche parts, misc. small block Chevy parts, of course the holiday decorations, coolers, luggage, etc.

I've never used it, but what are you supposed to do with the panels to keep them from getting all banged up if you are out somewhere and need to use the bed? Someone said they have a strap now which I guess is fine.. As long as they have some way to secure the panels.

Stack them carefully to the side and support them with whatever you're now hauling.  In the bag, they ride against one another, just as they would stacked.

I've done this with mine countless times, they look as good (coloring and fading aside) as new.

if we're talking about the panels rubbing up againt each other, then obviously you didn't pay much attention on the one occasion you used the bag.? The panels are separated by foam strips around the perimeter.

It is a decent idea that just didn't quite end up being easy enough to use.

Those foam strips don't do jack to keep them from rubbing somewhat.  IMO, of course :)

Perhaps my bag was just a defective POS from the start.

Who uses the bag anyway?? It's listed that there is a new strap system to contain the panels.? THAT I'd use!

This is on the 06's as well. When I picked up my new Av I noticed that it did not have the storage bag but a new strap system that looks to like its only intended to be used for storing the bags in the bed of the truck. Told the salesman I liked the bag better so I went over to my 03 and took the one from it a through it in the back on the new Av. Now I have both. >:D

operator error.  They do indeed keep the panels from touching, when iserted, er, wedged in properly.

to be fair, almost no one uses the fussy bed banel bag
I picked mine up once...to store it in the house someplace. Now I have two because I forgot to throw it in the '03 when I traded it. Didn't think the '05 had one in it but found it under the back seat.

I use the bag to store stuff in...not the panels...hehehehe

This truck is about as exciting as an oatmeal dinner fundraiser at a closed casket funeral.

Is there brown sugar and raisins?  Maybe some almond slivers or dried cranberries.

Nope.  Sorry.  Not for the 07's.  Just some of that "Salt Substitute"  Oh wait, that was cut out for 07.  And the bowl is gone too, you get it in one of those little paper envelopes that come with Tylenol that you buy at a gas station.
:p

Now the 02-06's on the other hand... That was a big piece of steak, unlimited A1 sauce, with a couple lit sparklers sticking out of it.  Right when you were about to eat it, they told you it came with a complementary free beer keg and fly fishing kit.

The 2007 Chevy Haggis LT....this might work.. for those unfamiliar with fine Scottish Cuisine Haggis consists of oatmeal wrapped in sheep's guts and then boiled.. :9:
