It's an adventure getting our AV into the garage . The length isn't too bad in the garage but the width and height are not that great. The AV just barely fits. If we had gotten the roof rack, we would be in trouble with getting the AV in the garage .

This is one of those mods that could be on TBS "Man Made Movie". Where during commercials they make mods to a house to make it the ultimate guy pad. "What to do with a big truck & a small garage...

So this is why my ears were ringing today, you been talking about me. When it comes to wood I can do just about anything, but thanks to this site I'm getting pretty good at modding my AV, something I've never done with any of my other vehicles.

Oh happy day! The wife, child and I just closed on our new home. The first thing we did was check if we could get both vehicles (the AV and our 1997 Chrysler Concord) in the garage. I was worried that the garage door wouldn't be wide enough for us to get them both in (as the AV is pretty wide and so is the Concord) and then, even if we could, we wouldn't be able to open the doors to exit the vehicles. Much to my (happy) surprise, they fit! The AV has about one foot to spare length-wise. Not only that but there is room on both sides of both vehicles for an actual adult size person to exit same. I guess home builders are taking into account the size of vehicles these days, and that really makes me happy.

Geez! All of my money for mods is tied up in "priceless keepsakes" (a.k.a. "worthless junk") that's piled in the garage preventing my AV from roosting there!

Well, I finally got them both in the garage!

First, the workbench had to go to the barn.
Then the freezer went where it was,
then the garden shelves had to be cleared so it could move,
then move the shelves where the freezer was,
then put stuff back on it,
then move the drill press,
then move the toolbox,
then move the chop-saw,
then move the bikes,
then move the tool-rack,
then move the recycling.

Then, back in yellow,
then pull in white.
Eye-ball garage door and viola!

Not so bad!
