Just a heads up for everyone, the National Park Service has a policy in place now in regards to no bags/backpacks etc, being carried into park service buildings (or any federal facilities).  I saw the notice last weekend at Gettysburg Battlefield.

And leave your pocket knives in your truck too! I know at Hoover Dam I had to make a run back to the Av to put mine & several others away.

Yea, the notice said something about pocket knives and weapons too, figured that would be obvious.

Anyone have a guess on what the hours for the dinner buffet will be?  We want to make sure we get there before it gets tossed to the dogs.

Nope!  >:D  I'm gonna shake hands with the National Park Services Officer, talk with them a while, sign their "guest" book and wait for ya'll to pass through the check point.

I may even point out a few people for them to check "extra special".

Dinner will be served from 6-8pm or longer if needed.

The free dinner location is going to be a suprise.

Last time I heard free dinner and surprise in the same sentence it meant road kill stew.
