Does anyone think the Z71, 4X4 or Z66 stickers on the rear quarters look cheesy???
I didn't like 'em at 1st but they grew on me. ?When I had my passenger rear quarter repaired due to a small ding the service dept put in, they removed the sticker.
I didn't wanna lose my truck for the whole day for the "10 minute" install (someone explain why they need it all day for the 10 minute install???) so I tried to reapply a new one myself.
YEP!!! ?You guessed it, I wrinkled it then ruined it. ?I have to order a new sticker but people are telling me to keep it off and remove the one from the drivers side.
I can't tell whether or not I really like it (I think I do) or I am still mad over them having to remove (and me ruining the next one) it from my Av or not.
:8:  :7: :B:

I think they are like a badge with some "essense of Tim Allen" thrown in "Grunt, grunt grunt..." >:D

I like the stickers, however if I was going to reapply them both, I would move them slightly higher.

I'm really really starting to like the '02 Blue AV's. I think that sticker looks perfect with the blue paint, red taillight and light grey cladding.

Now if I could only get some different Z66 decals. :6:

I have the Z-71 stickers. Have mixed feelings about them. Now that I've done the avalanche lettering to match much happier.
From my experience, the z-71 package including stickers makes a big difference in resale of the 1/2 tons

The Z-66 is a premium package for the 2wd. The Z-71 is an off road package for the 4wd. (Goo scolds me too)

Whoa! I hope you don't own an AV yet. It would be tough to choose without knowing!

Both are factory option codes.
Z66 2wd Custom with road smooth ride package
Z71 4x4 with additional stuff.

Standard 2wd AV and non-Z71 4x4 are also available. You can buy the acessories to make a standard 4x4 a Z-71 which I think are: two underbody sheilds, Z-71 fender graphic, special floor mats, and I think special shocks.

Not sure about all the stuff for Z-66.

I agree with the graphics for Z-71. While almost everything is the same, resale for Z-71 is more and people look for it. Probably the same for Z-66.

Talk to Brent at DecalKing. I'll bet he could put together something similar to the flag Z-71s for your Z66.

Yes, we are now the proud owners of a collectors edition. Hooters Girls are familiar with the Z66 because of the airtime they have received on MTV ;)

Those look too cool. I don't think I am going to trade in the unique orange Z71 stickers I have. I beleive they only are available on the pewter AV

The quality seems very good. I've had no problems with any part loosening at all - and mine gets washed at least once a week if not more. Even the individual letters at the bottom are holding tight. ;D

Well, the Z69 package comes with red suede instead of the standard cloth or leather, heart shaped seat backs, window blinds, a mirrored ceiling and rope lighting. :)

The "Z" got started with Zora Arkus-Duntov. The father of the Corvette. ?His Z28 packages came to life with the Camaro. ?The 3 digit codes i.e.. ZR2, ZR1, Z34, Z71, and others (LS1, L88, FE3...), all are part of a labeling system that identifies regular production options (RPO codes). ?The continuing use of the "Z" is probably a tribute to the late, great Duntov.
